HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED FOR MY PROBLEM?
How long is a piece of string? Unfortunately, it is not prescriptive, not two bodies have built up the same stress and strains, they have not led the save lives and so two bodies will ever respond in the same way. For some chronic problems, such as migraines, I will suggest an appointment once a week for two to three weeks, then a gradual spacing out of the appointments till it gets to every six weeks or so. it is then up to you the client to decide to keep up the appointments for maintenance purposes or leave it at that.
Most clients find that the benefits of treatment go far beyond what they originally came in for. Injuries on the body, such as a twisted knee might only take one session to feel better, but treatment on injuries work wonders if treated soon after injury.
I DIDN'T FEEL MUCH, WHY NOT?
As I mentioned earlier in the text explaining what CST is, we only use 5g of resistance when we put our hands on your body. The aim is for our hands to meld with your body, to feel all the deep movements within. If I push harder, I push against your body and then the resistance follows. This is then your body fighting against my hands as opposed to working with them. Even when you have left the treatment room, the body will still continue to process so even though you felt nothing at the time change will hopefully occur. The more CST work you do the more you will feel as you become more aware of the deep changes occurring.
